Drupal Errors

Warning message

JQuery Cycle must be installed in order to run the slideshow. Please go to Status Report for instructions.

If you want to resolve this error there can be 2 ways:

1) Empty(Truncate) all the cache tables from your database. For example empty all tables suffix by "cache_" like cache, cache_block, cache_content, cache_filter, cache_form, cache_menu, cache_page, cache_update, cache_views.

2) Your MySQL credentials are not right. Check your settings.php see if your MySQL credentials are right. Either your database username, passport or host is wrong.

This error occurs usually during a file upload and when you try to check the Drupal logs you will find error something like this -
"PDOException: SQLSTATE[23000]: Integrity constraint violation: 1062 Duplicate entry '' for key 2: INSERT INTO {file_managed}."

Usually if you remove the white spaces from your filename which you are uploading will solve this error . So for example if you have a filename like "tech rappers.jpg" then try changing the filename to "techrappers.jpg" or tech-rappers.jpg" will solve this error.

Alternatively, you can use the below module also :

https://www.drupal.org/project/upload_qc

To resolve this error you must wrap your JavaScript inside function like this :

(function ($) {
  // Your jQuery code.
  $('#something1').click(function () {
    $('#something2').slideToggle();
  });
  //Put your code between these comments.
})(jQuery);

This is the error due to entity reference module. Please apply the patch https://drupal.org/files/entityreference-1459540-47-workaround-fatal-error.patch and then run the update.php i.e
yourwebsite.com/update.php to solve this problem.

Solution : This will be due to that you might be upgraded the version of PHP . For example 5.1 to 5.3+

So, your <? ?> quotes will not work. Either you have to make it  like <?php ?> . Or you have to enable <? ?> php quotes in PHP.ini file.

This is due to that you have recently upgraded your PHP version from 5.2 + to 5.3 + .

To solve this you either have to re-install the PHP 5.2+ version again like 5.2.9 .

OR

Replace the ereg($mask, $file) with mb_ereg($mask, $file) in file.inc specifically on line 902.

ISSUE : Notice: Undefined index: src in theme_admin_menu_icon() (line 924 of /path/to/drupal/sites/all/modules/contrib/admin_menu/admin_menu.inc).

SOLUTION : This may be caused when you recently update the admin module. You can solve it by going into the database and flush all the "cache" tables like cache blocks, cache_theme etc. just select all the tables with preceding "cache_" name and empty them from phpmyadmin. This will solve your problem

ISSUE : Sorry, there have been more than 5 failed login attempts for this account. It is temporarily blocked. Try again later or request a new password.

SOLUTION : This means that your IP address is in the block list of DRUPAL. Now to release your ip address .

                   You have to to go to database, find the table "flood" and remove all entries from that table.

                   Or run command "DELETE FROM flood" . After this your IP has been released and you can again login to your system.

ERROR :  PDOException: SQLSTATE[HY000]: General error: 1366 Incorrect integer value: 'WATCHDOG_ERR' for column 'severity' at row 1: INSERT INTO {watchdog} (uid, type, message, variables, severity, link, location, referer, hostname, timestamp) VALUES (:db_insert_placeholder_0, :db_insert_placeholder_1, :db_insert_placeholder_2, :db_insert_placeholder_3, :db_insert_placeholder_4, :db_insert_placeholder_5, :db_insert_placeholder_6, :db_insert_placeholder_7, :db_insert_placeholder_8, :db_insert_placeholder_9); Array ( [:db_insert_placeholder_0] => 0 [:db_insert_placeholder_1] => file [:db_insert_placeholder_2] => The specified file %file could not be copied to %destination. The website encountered an unexpected error. Please try again later.

SOLUTION :

It is issue from the drupal core :

 http://drupal.org/node/1206916

but it would not cause a malfunction of the whole Drupal.

If you want to repair this, you have to edit the file :

inside, includes / file.inc line 909 WATCHDOG_ERR, you have to replace this with  WATCHDOG_ERROR

or

You have to apply the patch from above drupal link.
